As a lobbyist and advocate, Jeanne worked for rural communities, the NC Courts and cities and towns. Jeanne was an advocate for working people across NC.
At the NC Courts, Jeanne successfully advocated for additional resources for personnel, technology, Drug Treatment Courts and other programs. She was also involved in the creation of the new Office for Juvenile Justice so these critical issues could get the attention needed in the Executive Branch of government.
As an advocate for cities and towns, Jeanne worked with Members of Congress and the NC General Assembly. Jeanne worked with both parties for solutions to issues that affect North Carolinians. In 2005, Jeanne hired now-Senator Dan Blue to assist on a critical issue affecting North Carolinians.
